Our co-ed club is dedicated to furthering the sport of fishing. We consist of Pittsford residents and students. Members range in experience, from interested newcomers to skilled tournament anglers.

Our club was established in 2017 and has grown exponentially in three years. Our membership consists of over 200 students in grades 6-12.

Some of our members have joined Bassmaster and BASS Nation High School to compete and represent our high school team in tournaments on the state and national level. In 2019 Pittsford Fishing finished 1st and 3rd place at the state tournament on Cayuga Lake in early June. Those three anglers then competed in the Mossy Oak Bass Nation High School National Championship on Lake
Kentucky in Paris, Tennessee. In 2020 our team repeated as state champions after placing 1st at Sodus Bay. Again, the team of Golub/Pitcher competed at Nationals. Lastly, in 2021 the team of Golub/Pitcher repeated as back-to-back-to-back state champions.

I grew up fishing the Finger Lakes and local ponds in Mendon. I wish there had been more organized fishing opportunities when I was in growing up. I helped start the program so kids could enjoy the outdoors and share their passion for fishing.

STATE CHAMP 2020

As I grew up on Conesus Lake, fishing has been a passion and a lifestyle for as long as I can remember. I fished many small local pond tournaments at a young age, and then joined the Rochester Junior Bassmasters. The drive to improve has led to me fish in state tournaments, national championships and variety of Bassmaster Elite events.

While I love catching huge fish, getting outside and experiencing the beauty of nature is sometimes the most fulfilling part of fishing.
